friday night double feature.

ryan & i have no standards when it comes to what movies we see in the theaters. as long as it is half way entertaining and the preview has lines we repeat, we're probably going to the theater to see it. i have seen more movies in the time i've dated/been engaged/married to ryan than i have in the rest of my life combined, and i love it. aside from airplanes, it's the last place on earth where we can really disconnect.

the september issue.

my very cool friend told me about this movie a while ago and when i finally saw it, wow. so, if you're like me and you didn't even know the september issue was the biggest magazine and literally an event in the fashion world (sorry, i somehow missed that until now!) or if you have been buying it since you could see the magazine stand, this documentary on vogue and anna wintour is pretty incredible.

marley & me

caught this over the weekend for the second time and am reminded of what an incredible movie marley & me is. it is just as much a portrait of a marriage as it is a story about a great dog. bonus, jennifer aniston has spent two and a half years remodeling her home in beverly hills, architectural digest has all the details this month.

the way we get by

"the way we get by" is a truly moving film about senior citizens who are troop greeters in maine-- they have greeted literally thousands of troops coming home from iraq and afghanistan -- and changed their own lives in the process. que it up, you will be so glad you did.
