so glad to be here. i've been on six airplanes this week (and delayed six times) and it is so good to be home. ryan has flown five times, but he's supposed to do that (wink, wink). ready for a weekend of things that remind us to be here. lots of sleep. good pancakes. some time in the fresh air. a good movie.

so sorry blogging has been so slow this week. travel has been too crazy, which makes this great new find on etsy so perfect. look at this passport cover by joyeverafter! doesn't it just make you even more excited to travel the world? plus, i think you would have interesting conversations in the lines at airports because EVERYONE would be complimenting your passport.

ring bowls.

so paloma's nest is by no means a new all-star on etsy, but i just love it. these "ring bowls" are such an heirloom to have. we didn't even have a ring bear and i got one to have that day and put on our christmas tree every year. i could also totally see having it on a dresser or bookshelf. you can have the edges gold painted like the one above. or just plain white.

so, i'm showing my husband etsy. (he's a patient man). and i show him one very cute shop with hand-sewn items. he asks a good clarifying question "so this is where people are selling stuff they make themselves?" i answer, "yes." he says (with big eyes) "so if we order 100 of these, are they going to freak out?!" turns out, my husband is every etsy sellers dream come true.
