i was going through wedding invite withdrawal and then i stumbled into cat seto's store in san francisco. oh my. i love these blossom invites. look at the detail! so pretty and chic for a bright wedding. we loved a subtle yellow theme for our wedding!

so, i fell hard for this HAND drawing of the world that comes with 202 push pins -- 200 black ones, and then 1 red pin for "headquarters" and blue one for your next "target."
i'm thinking we need to start this now and chart our marriage and family & the places we go! (especially perfect for military families going all over the place!) found on this cute blog.

have been in cali for work and now get to spend some time in san fran. oh my goodness i love this city. last night a dear friend and i went to baker & banker, an absolutely cozy restaurant with such good food. they had chalkboards on the walls, which i love. excited to get some more time to just walk these streets -- there's just something about this city.

s. pellegrino just released the list of the 50 best restaurants in the world here. i haven't eaten at any of them, but alas i am young and most of them are on a different continent. anyone tried any of these? what's your best restaurant in the world nominee?

i've been subscribing to real simple magazine since high school (i'm a huge nerd). well, that means i've been reading kristin van ogtrop's editor's letters since she started and was so excited to read her new book.
clearly i'm not a working mom, but i still found her book (which i read in a day given all my travel :) to be relevant for a working/commuting navy wife and just the demands on women these days. it's funny, authentic and gave me lots to think about. thoughts, dear readers?

i'm just the biggest reese witherspoon fan. i love her movies. every interview i've read is so authentic. and, i just like her style. these two recent photos from people reminded me of that. one on the left is on her way to the White House easter egg roll!
