ellie's first easter.

 

 

 

we had a really wonderful first Easter with ellie! it's a hard to believe a year ago this weekend, we had just found out we were pregnant & i had a very special easter egg hunt planned for ryan. plus, ryan proposed three years ago on easter weekend. & now we're a family of three!

this easter, we had a quiet morning at home & took some photos before we left for church (& our habitual starbucks run!). bottom two photos are at church -- baby friends ellie & sophie (mama friends val & me :) & the three of us. this was the first service ellie stayed awake for -- it was so neat to see her taking it all in. she especially loved the allelulia chorus!

p.s. ellie's dress/seersucker bloomers were something i found on consignment for $5 (!!); my dress if from ryan's winging & my navy blazer is gap; ryan's looking super handsome in a vineyard vines shirt & tie.
