I love the half-birthday tradition! My mother used to only celebrate my half-birthday (12/27) so it wouldn't get folded in with the holidays...I didn't even know my birthday was in December until a neighbor brought over what I thought was a Christmas gift two days late (I was seven).

I hope you're doing well and that the second trimester is treating you better than the first :/

Love half birthdays! I would add to the nursing basket just a bit - some nipple cream for mama (earth mama angel baby makes a wonderful organic one) and some trashy magazine reading :)
