a fellow military wife recommended this amazing collection of short stories & i haven't been able to put it down. truly incredible writing, really gripping stories & unlike anything else i've read about military life. if you're looking for a good read, try  "you know when the men are gone."

I read an excerpt of this in Oprah's magazine and immediately ordered it. I haven't had the chance to read it yet – book club books need to be read, etc., but I am really excited to start. It sounds like a good one!
