one line a day.
a dedicated t&f reader sent me a link to this wonderful journal -- you write one line a day for five years (it's set up so you can see what you wrote on that day each year!). she & her husband are doing it together (& had the wonderful suggestion it'd make a great wedding gift). how fun will it be to look back in five years? we all have time for one line a day, right? has anyone else used this?

I've seen that and like it. This year I came across the mini Moleskine tiny daily calendar/planner. I am writing a line to my husband every day and then I will give it to him on New Years Eve this year. My goal is to note why I love him and really make myself stop and think about it.
i received this as a bridesmaid gift, and i LOVE it! it is so very do-able, and i like that in years' time you can compare/reflect on how life has changed. it is devotional in a sense, and i am so happy that it is a part of my daily routine.
My fiance's uncle has done this in a spiral notebook for over 20 years!! It is so fun to go back and read everything, especially around the holidays!
I have a question a day 5 year journal. I just got it for Christmas and love how I'll be able to look back and see how I answer the questions differently over the years.
love this idea!
Did you see this idea on DesignSponge recently: http://www.designspongeonline.com/2010/12/diy-project-vintage-postcard-calendar-journal.html
It incorporates postcards which I know you love and has the same line a day journaling feature.
That's a very lovely idea. Not sure I would do well keeping it up everyday, but I definitely like the concept.
2 weeks and going strong on our "One Line a Day"--- hope we can keep it up for the next 5+ years!
