molly + jack digs.

so, I mentioned we had an awesome dinner with some dear friends while in d.c. well, molly & jack are fellow newlyweds and have the greatest new apartment in d.c. it's actually in the same building where john & jackie kennedy lived when they were first married! you can see just what an incredible job they've done making it home.

couple of details beyond their cute apartment (in order of photos): the deer is a shot glass that they give out to all guests at their house. so, so cool & a tradition ryan & i are thinking we've gotta start. the framed print of all the monuments/special places are actually the table cards from their AMAZING wedding, done by cheree berry. (ridiculously cool, i know!). we got dinner from homemade pizza co., which i'm in love with. molly made homemade whip cream for our dessert (which was delicious). molly & jack, too cute. molly + me, so grateful for our friendship.

up next, jack's ridiculously adorable christmas gift to molly!

I wish that more of my friends were married so that we could have awesome couple dates like this! You're right--that shot glass idea is genius! Such a charming way to keep the memory of that night.

What an awesome apartment!! I love the idea of giving a gift to all the guests of your home and the idea of framing place cards from your wedding : ) and I think the flower plates are awesome!
