that photo sums up everything that is my happy place. i love sitting on that beach by the ferry landing pier and looking across the bay at one of my favorite cities with a red velvet from coronado cupcakery. despite our ridiculously slow internet out here on the ship, as soon as i saw those two triangle pointed towers (the Hyatt downtown), i knew it was my home.

thanks for showing me a little piece of the familiar & happy while i'm out here and feeling a little homesick :)
