so, i'm about the furthest thing from a enologist, and i pretty much choose wine bottles based on pretty labels. that said, i'm blessed to have friends who know a lot more and have led me to some fabulous wines. i also have always been pretty strongly in the white wine camp. that was before one such a friend introduced me to malbecs. they alone have given me an appreciation for red wines. the best part? it's hard to go wrong. they are all made from a certain kind of grape in argentina and therefore very consistent. even better? lots of them have pretty labels. any favorite wines? thanks, ash. xo

Malbecs are my second favorite after Old Vine Zinfindel... Recommend the Gnarly Head label - very inexpensive and ooooh is it good!
