rhode island wedding.

 

 

a year ago yesterday, two of our dearest friends got married. it was an absolutely perfect august day in rhode island and the bride was radiant. they were married in her parent's backyard, under two big trees. she picked the wildflowers and rosemary for her bouquet with her groom-to-be. they made beautiful, genuine vows to one another. we had a big lobster bake to celebrate and danced the night away.

i know many of you are planning weddings and as i was reflecting yesterday on the first year of this marriage and thinking about their wedding day, i thought the authenticity of this wedding might bring you some joy. (the best news: their marriage is EVEN better than their wedding) congrats e & phil - much love to you both!
