proud wife alert.

last night, ryan completed his LAST flight of flight school. after hundreds of flights, classes, cancelled flights, hours on base "hurrying up to wait", late nights studying, briefs, and watches, he has earned those wings of gold.

i wish i could put into words what a blessing it has been to watch him over the past two years. i wish i could explain how proud i am of him and how humbled i am to be by his side as he serves his country. it brings me to tears thinking about ryan and the men and women he serves with and all they do to keep us safe.

the exciting thing is, this is just the beginning -- next week, we learn where we're headed for the next three years and we can hardly wait!! p.s. the above photos are my incredible husband landing on "the ship" for the first time a few weeks ago! ok, thanks for indulging this proud wife :)

Congrats to Ryan (and you too!) it's such an incredible accomplishment. Kevin's winging weekend was so meaningful and a lot of fun. Enjoy it! and take lots of pictures... and be prepared to get emotional.
Also, you'll have to let me know where you guys get stationed. I'm really crossing my fingers for you to join us in San Diego!
