calling all newlyweds!

through some emails with a few of you, i've learned that one of the reasons some of you come to t&f is because though there are a lot of amazing wedding blogs out there, there aren't as many newlywed blogs. and though t&f is not quite that, i love mentioning moments of newlywed life as ryan and i experience them.

a few of you have expressed an interest in being able to talk about what it's like to be a newlywed with other women. for a lot of us, it's a phase we enter before we really have a community around us. it's also something we don't talk a lot about -- most books and movies end with the wedding. so, what does life look like now? (especially with everything else we have going on: new jobs, balancing work and life, moving to new places, accepting more adult responsibilities every day...)

if you would like to email with some other newlywed women and exchange thoughts, questions, ideas, ridiculous stories (a no obligation commitment, we'll make it up as we go!) please email me at tulipsandflightsuits@gmail.com. just give me your name and a little tidbit on who you are, when you got married, etc. (short paragraph is all i need, no pressure :) and... i'll be in touch!

p.s. if you're a bride to be, let me know and you can join once you get through the joys of wedding planning!

I definitely think one of the reasons that I have fallen in love with your blog (I found you last night via ampersandity) is because I am also a newlywed. I will be sending you an e-mail very soon!
