Gorgeous, gorgeous photography!! Can I ask how you make your colors "pop" so nicely? Is this top secret? :)

Whenever I take a picture, I feel like the image I produce doesn't nearly capture the beauty I saw without the lens. But you--you capture it!

hey there! :) great question and i am by no means a photographer. in fact, usually what happens is i take a photo, hand the camera to ryan, he takes the better one and i use it on the blog. the only tip i do have is for iphoto, you can use the editing tool to "enhance" the photos -- it does exactly what you said, make the colors in the photos pop!
