chocolate cake.

this was our wedding cake. it's from cake love, one of the best cupcake spots in the dc area. we chose their "my downfall" cake, which is just as ridiculous as it sounds, with mocha frosting. (we aren't shy about our love for chocolate). p.s. bravo zulu means congrats in the navy alphabet!

it was a-mazing.

now for our little secret. we had 120 guests, and that cake couldn't quite feed all of them. you already know we had cookies. and a candy bar. so we decided to do this little cake from cake love, and the rest was sheet cake from costco. for those of you in shock, go try it. really. it's some of the best sheet cake ever. and, it's $16 to feed 40 people. plus, it looks pretty fabulous when put on cute square plates.
