granola, honey & yogurt
this weekend, i made this AMAZING granola (thanks katie did!) and combined it with my current go-to: greek yogurt and honey. just loving it. any fun recipes you tried out this weekend? here's my modification of katie's recipe for granola:
5 cups old fashioned rolled oats
2 cups wheat germ
1 cup whole wheat flour
1 cup coconut
1 cup sliced almonds
4T vanilla
1/2 cup water
1/2 cup honey
1/2 cup oil (olive oil or another!)
mix dry ingredients; mix wet ingredients; combine two mixtures well; bake at 250 degrees for 1-2 hours (until dry and light brown), stirring every 30ish minutes; enjoy!

no. way.
greek yogurt and honey is MY new thing, and we did this completely independent of each other. what are the chances!?
if only they sold hives for lives at WF...
holy F, Mare that's a lot of granola. do you halve the recipe, or just have the squadron over for a hearty breakfast?
You too? We may need a greek yogurt and honey addiction support group.
yes, a support group would be good :) and yes, lizzie, i halved the recipe (i don't even own a bowl that holds 10 cups!) and took some to our new neighbors!
Cannot wait to make this.
