sailing.

so, this was definitely the first weekend of spring in p'cola and when you're lucky enough to have a friend/groomsman who LIVES on a sailboat (really), that's pretty fabulous.

here's our fearless captain (no joke, the sailboat's name is fearless). that afternoon, there were 28 knot winds and we were only using the jib, but we were going REALLY fast (by the way i have no idea what either of those mean, but i was sailing with the u.s. navy, so that's ok). the reason there are no photos of me is because i was clutching the side of the boat and having so much fun!
