jars of candy!

candy bars are the "it" thing it seems and my guess is it's because they're so darn cute AND practical. jars with brightly colored candy looks great, but after a long night on the dance floor, your guests are grateful for a little snack for their way home.

we went the ultra simple route. these jars are from ikea (my budget thanked me), the candy (all our favorites) bought in bulk from costco; and the yellow bags are from michael's (to extend our subtle yellow theme through small details in the wedding). we hand stamped them and called it a day. the signs sticking out of the jars were an amazing DIY from style me pretty, found here. 

this was a huge hit-- especially with our youngest of guests.

on the big day, this table of candy, was next to the postcard table, which was across from the photo booth. it made it a mini-fair at our wedding. guests could get candy and write a postcard to us, all while waiting in line for the photo booth!
