this is one of the best descriptions of what it means to really make a place your home and why it can become your favorite place to be. i literally feel that happening with our new house and love how ann patchett (one of my all time favorite authors) describes it. p.s. my very first t&f book recommendation was her book: truth & beauty. it's still my all time fav.
