happy weekend!

this ladder is awesome. fall weekends are a time i love to be in the kitchen. making a big pot of chili, pumpkin bread or just sharing a pumpkin ale while ryan & i do the dishes. here are a few links i'm loving:

Love your blog. I've been reading it for months. I've missed it for several weeks now because I've been busy. I love all your postings, but I wanted to thank you for the Obama New Yorker link and the Manhattan space proj link---so great. I re-posted on FB and put your blog on there. The Obama piece may have been about newlyweds, but Obama's comments about familiarity and mystery apply just as well to our relationships with our children. And, I can't wait(!) to show my daughter the weather balloon video. Thanks again! J
