engagement photos.

 

 

 

so, one thing i knew is that i LOVE looking at photos of my parents b.c. (before children). it's just so neat to get a glimpse of their lives before my bro and i came along to give them grey hairs. that meant engagement photos, also known as photos of us in normal clothes, (as opposed to a fancy shmancy white dress, navy whites and tux) were a must.

and then, because we split our engagement between two places that mean a lot to us, and because I'm ridiculous, we did them twice. first up, our amazing wedding photographer, andrew reilly, hung out with us in georgetown. then, we found an incredible military wife, andrea crabb (who was eight months pregnant at the time!) to take some great photos in lovely p'cola.

so, on a spring day in georgetown, we hung out at the dumbarton oaks gardens, wandered down 32nd street and wound up at our (and lots of other people's) favorite burger spot: five guys.
