hi! my name is mary & i love: this guy & this sweet little girl, grilled cheese, eloise, summer days at an indiana lake, being a navy wife, pancakes, yoga, good books, anywhere with my sweet husband, letterpress, old town alexandria (where the happiest day of my life happened!), chi-town at christmas, charlottesville, praying, late night movies, hope, the sunday new york times, college basketball, long runs to clear my mind, yellow tulips, my bro making me laugh, roadtrips, public education, an extremely broad definition of family.

i'm a wife, mom, military wife, christian, writer, thinker, yoga enthusiast, work in progress cook, latte believer, reader & optimist who is so grateful to have this space.
